Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to join our team. Under the direction of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform radiographic procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure radiation safety across in-patient and out-patient settings.

The role emphasizes independent judgment and high-quality patient care. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS within 6 months, State Registered Radiologic Technician, and NMTCB/NMT; NMTCB PET certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS required or completed within 6 months of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technician required.
• NMTCB or NMT certification required; PET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform radiographic procedures using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with professional judgment.
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients.
• Administer pharmaceuticals/radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine scope of practice.
• Ensure radiation safety and quality control in daily operations.
• Demonstrate professionalism and care in patient interactions.
