Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to perform radiographic procedures and PET studies under physician supervision. The role requires NMTCB/NMT or NMT (AART) certification and state radiologic technologist registration, with BLS and ACLS readiness.

The position supports patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, operating varied Nuclear Medicine equipment while maintaining radiation safety standards and contributing to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• State-registered radiologic technologist required.
• NMTCB NM or NMT certification required; PET certification preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PRN role; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs radiographic procedures as assigned.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilizes Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates commitment to radiation safety.
• Contributes to quality patient care and workflow efficiency.
