Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist to join our team as a PRN role. You will work under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performing radiographic procedures and applying isotopes for diagnostic purposes.

The role requires handling in-patient and out-patient tests, operating Nuclear Medicine cameras, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and maintaining strict radiation safety standards.

Formación

• BLS required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - AART (NM).
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures.
• Performs at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.
• Performs test in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety.
