Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to join our diagnostic imaging team. Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform Nuclear Medicine and PET studies, operate specialty cameras, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in a patient-focused environment.

Emphasis on radiation safety and quality patient care. The role requires state licensure as a Radiologic Technician, NMTCB/NMT- AART certification (preferred), and BLS (ACLS within 6 months).

Qualifications

• State licensure as Radiologic Technician is required.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) – AART NM certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures as appropriate.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure radiation safety protocols.
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients as part of diagnostic imaging.
