Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals team. The role involves performing Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, and ensuring radiopharmaceutical administration adheres to safety standards.

The position requires TX licensure, ARRT/NM or NMTCB certification, and current BLS/ACLS, with a focus on patient care and technologist independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR Texas license required or eligible.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures and applies isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Maintains radiation safety practices and contributes to patient care and safety.
