Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under radiologist supervision. You will ensure safety, follow protocols, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses.

Responsibilities include patient interaction, QA/QC, and transferring images to PACS, with emphasis on accuracy and HIPAA compliance. Requires BLS, MRT license in TX, and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Certification/Licensing: BLS, MRT license in Texas, ARRT(N) or CNMT.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including PET and theranostic studies per protocol.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and accurate imaging technique.
• Maintain QA/QC of equipment and coordinate with radiology staff.
• Communicate with patients and families and document findings per EMR.
• Transfer images to PACS for clinical review and dictation.
