Job summary

DHR Health in McAllen, TX is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech for a full-time, day shift. You will perform NM and PET imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols, contribute to safe patient care, and collaborate with radiology staff to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiology or nuclear medicine program, state certification, ARRT/NMTCB or equivalent, BLS, and strong communication skills;

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Current state certification (TMB) required.
  • ARRT/NMTCB certification required or NMTCB certification.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS recommended.
  • At least 2 years Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; bilingual ability valued.

Responsibilities

  • Performs NM and PET radiological procedures in a timely manner.
  • Maintains equipment cleanliness and quality control.
  • Completes accurate documentation in patient records and on PACS/RIS.
  • Trains NM and PET technologists on procedures and protocols.
  • Ensures compliance with TDH, ACR, CMS and Joint Commission standards.
  • Provides excellent customer service and supports facility mission and values.
