Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center – Downtown Dallas, part-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist, performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under Radiologist supervision. The role supports ambulatory and hospital patients with emphasis on safety, precise imaging, and patient communication.

ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N) or CNMT certification is required along with adherence to HIPAA and safety standards. Benefits include health coverage and PTO starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Certified nuclear medicine technologist with ARRT-N or CNMT.
• Experience performing nuclear medicine, PET and theranostic procedures.
• Supervision by Radiologist and adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment via QC and participate in safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures per exam protocol.
• Communicate with patients to identify needs and obtain consent.
• Ensure patient safety and aseptic technique during procedures.
• Coordinate image transfer to BSWH PACS for review and dictation.
• Assist in maintaining supplies and radiopharmaceuticals for patient care.
