Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals network. This role supports radiographic procedures, PET imaging, and radiopharmaceutical administration under physician guidance, with emphasis on radiation safety and patient care.

The ideal candidate will have CAHEA-accredited Nuclear Medicine education, Texas MTR, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification, and a current BLS. ACLS within 6 months is required; PET certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
