Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging and therapy. You will collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition and data interpretation to support patient care; ARRT or NMTCB certification required or eligibility with certification within 6 months.

The role follows a Mon–Thu 6 AM–4:30 PM schedule, with on-site responsibilities at Northside

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB or eligible for certification with certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
