Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging.

You will collaborate with physicians to ensure safe and accurate imaging and data acquisition, maintain patient safety, and meet standards for quality care. This role offers growth and training on state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program with ARRT or NMTCB certification, or eligible for certification within 6 months.
• Associate’s Degree or higher and ARRT or NMTCB certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Work Hours:

Mon-Thurs 6 AM -4:30 PM
