Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic procedures. You will collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition and data for diagnoses and treatments.

Qualified candidates hold a Nuclear Medicine Technology degree or higher, ARRT/NMTCB certification or eligibility, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and ARRT or NMTCB certification or eligibility.
  • Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Associate’s Degree or higher with ARRT or NMTCB certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
  • Work closely with physicians to ensure safe and accurate acquisition of images and data.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer. OR Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Work Hours:

7am - 530 pm
