Job summary

A leading healthcare facility in Atlanta is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals. The position involves operating imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes while ensuring accurate collaboration with physicians. Applicants must hold valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB and an Associate’s Degree or higher. Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is also required.

Qualifications

  • Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB AND Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
