Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes. Candidates must have an Associate's Degree and certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

The ideal candidate will hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification and work closely with physicians to ensure accurate patient imaging and data gathering.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
  • Work closely with physicians to ensure accurate acquisition of images.

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
  • Associate's Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
