Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and to operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging.

You will work closely with physicians to ensure safe and accurate image acquisition and data collection essential for diagnosis and treatment. Applicants should hold an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology degree, ARRT or NMTCB certification (or eligibility), and BLS; hospital experience is valued in a high-volume

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and ARRT/NMTCB certification (or eligible).
• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology with ARRT/NMTCB certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB or meets eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Associate’s Degree or higher and certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

6:30-3, 7-3:30
