Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures across diverse patient populations. The role emphasizes safety, protocol adherence, and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, patient education, and maintaining regulatory records while mentoring students and junior staff to ensure excellence in imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• 1 year of experience required.
• AR DMS/ARRT CNMT/NMTCB certified upon hire or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols and regulations.
• Position patient and equipment, select protocol, and operate all required equipment.
• Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist during tests.
• Maintain records, licenses, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor students and junior technologists and ensure regulatory readiness.
