Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in a compliant, patient-focused environment. You will ensure quality control, document procedures, and assist with advanced imaging and post-processing.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience.
Required licenses/certifications: ARDMS/ARRT (Nuclear Medicine), CNMT, NMTCB, and BLS.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols.
Carry out quality control procedures in line with guidelines.
Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist during tests.
Maintain records and reports to meet federal and state regulatory requirements.
Post-process advanced imaging using applications like Syngo Via.
Mentor students and junior technologists; ensure regulatory compliance.
