Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures. You will ensure patient safety, prepare and position patients, and operate imaging equipment in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, 1 year of experience, and current ARDMS/ARRT CNMT or NMTCB registration with BLS clearance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (JRCNMT or NMTCB).
• 1 year of experience required.
• Licensure/certification required upon hire (ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Medicine, CNMT, NMTCB).
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures according to protocols and procedures.
• Conducts quality control procedures per guidelines.
• Explains procedures and safety precautions to patients and assists during tests.
• Maintains records and regulatory compliance.
• Mentors students and junior technologists.
• Post-processes advanced imaging using standard software.
