Job summary

Ascension's Seton Medical Center-Austin in Austin, TX seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and ensure accurate patient positioning and timely image submission to PACS/EHR.

Required credentials include BLS, Texas radiologic tech certification, NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine credentials, or NMTCB-NCT, with appropriate education or experience as specified.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire.
• Texas TMRT General Practice credential required.
• NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine credential required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures to deliver high-quality imaging.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals with strict radiation safety standards.
• Operate and monitor nuclear medicine imaging equipment for accurate diagnostic images.
• Ensure precise patient positioning and timely image submission to PACS/EHR.
