Job summary

Baptist Health System in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech for PRN rotating shifts to perform basic Nuclear Medicine procedures and support diagnostic imaging.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine experience, ARRT or CNMT certification, and a Texas license with BLS. You will ensure quality control, patient safety, and effective communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years in Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine.
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT; Texas Medical Board license.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment.
• Evaluates images for technical quality and assists practitioner with operation of radiation detection equipment.
• Performs aseptic techniques and handles radioactive materials as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
