St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using radioisotopes in a high-quality patient-focused environment.

You will work within ARRT/NMTCB standards and hospital policies to ensure safe, accurate imaging and patient comfort. The role requires knowledge of radiation safety, positioning for various ages, and collaboration with radiologists.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate program in radiology or nuclear medicine tech per JRCERT/AMA standards.
• Associates degree preferred; experience as Radiologic Tech preferred.

Aufgaben

• Produce images per ARRT/NMTCB standards.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, computers, and related equipment.
• Ensure timely, high-quality scans from neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Explain procedures to patients and families.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and dignity at all times.
