Job summary

St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to produce high-quality scans following ARRT/NMTCB standards. You will ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance in a dynamic radiology department.

Operate cameras and related equipment, adhere to ALARA principles, and collaborate with radiologists. Requires CNMT or ARRT-R, RT Radiologic Technologist, ACLS within 6 months and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Associate Degree required.
• CNMT or ARRT-R credential (or RT Radiologic Technologist) required.

Responsibilities

• Produce images per ARRT and NMTCB standards.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Complete quality scans with efficient workflow.
• Adapt imaging for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Communicate findings to Radiologist; support patient care.
