St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Texas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our multidisciplinary team.

You will perform imaging procedures using radioisotopes, adhere to ARRT/NMTCB standards, and ensure ALARA safety while delivering high-quality patient care. The role requires graduate from JRCERT-accredited programs, CNMT or ARRT NM certification, and experience with imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a JRCERT-accredited program or AMA-approved radiologic/nuclear medicine program.
• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• CNMT or ARRT NM certification required or post-primary CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality nuclear medicine scans following protocols.
• Operate cameras, computers and related equipment efficiently.
• Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety guidelines.
• Explain procedures to patients and families clearly.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy and dignity at all times.
• Collaborate with radiologists to interpret findings.
