Job summary

Advocate Health's Advocate South Suburban Hospital – Nuclear Medicine is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full‑time 40‑hour week. You will perform planar and SPECT imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation of procedures.

Requirements include a Nuclear Medicine Technology program graduate, SPECT knowledge, CPR certification, and IL safety licensing eligibility. On‑call and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred; graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Knowledge of single and dual detector SPECT cameras; GE equipment experience preferred.
• Licensed by IL Department of Nuclear Safety; Registry eligible; CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Meet department standards of care and respond to patient or referring physician requests.
• Scan patients with proper factors to obtain high quality images and document requisitions.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals; observe ALARA and safety procedures.
• Maintain regulatory records and participate in on-call and weekend coverage.
