Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Day Shift role, typically 40 hours per week, primarily at the Main location with some offsite opportunities. Qualifications

• High school or GED diploma required.
• Graduate of AMA, JRC, or regional accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
• Nuclear Medicine ARRT or NNTCB registry; if registry not completed at hire, must complete within six months to remain employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of Nuclear Medicine images, including cardiac imaging and PET.
• Care for patients in the Nuclear Medicine Department.
• Maintain ALARA practices and follow Georgia Department Nuclear Regulatory guidelines for radioactive materials.

Education
