Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned mechanical design engineer for power generation and nuclear projects in the United States. Lead design activities, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards and project schedules.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, at least six years of design experience in power or nuclear sectors, and be willing to travel up to 25% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in design engineering in power generation or nuclear power.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Experience in mechanical system design, thermal-hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, or nuclear plant modifications.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style.
• Proven experience with a high level of decision making, directing and overseeing routine and advanced technical work performed by others.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.
• US Citizenship required.
• Travel up to 15-25% to client sites (at least once per month).
