You will design, analyze, and document mechanical systems for power plant projects, travel to sites, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of mechanical systems.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to contribute individually and collaborate in a team.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements.
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations and analyses meeting codes and client needs.
• Follow procedures and regulatory requirements while delivering engineering documents.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards and nuclear sector techniques.
• Produce high-quality deliverables aligning with project scope and quality standards.
• Interacting with clients to establish trust and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Travel to plant sites for on-site evaluations and walkdowns.
