Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in Ft Worth, TX. The role offers mid-level to principal paths, with opportunities to lead, mentor, and advance within a growing practice.

You will support projects from major power plant modifications to smaller design initiatives, collaborate across disciplines, produce engineering deliverables, and travel to plant sites for on-site assessments to inform design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years designing mechanical systems.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear, or DOE projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engineering documents meeting codes and standards.
• Adhere to client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry codes, safety culture, and nuclear design techniques.
• Produce deliverables that meet QA standards and project scope.
• Build lasting client relationships through clear communication.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Be hands-on in the field; travel to plant sites for on-site assessments.
