Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a First Line Manager for Weapons Program Material Control in the Production Supply Chain Group to lead a skilled team handling classified parts, inventory, and warehouse operations.

Oversight includes daily activities, safety, compliance, and performance metrics, plus developing procedures and coaching staff while coordinating with the Responsible Line Manager and MSM-4 to meet program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of supply chain and resource management practices
• Experience managing production and facility-maintenance materials in a nuclear facility and using inventory management systems
• Experience developing compliant procurement packages for safety-class items

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work activities for warehouse operations and material control
• Monitor performance, metrics, and staffing needs while ensuring safety and compliance
• Develop processes and training materials; provide status updates to customers
• Coordinate with MSM-4 and RLM to resolve complex warehouse issues and meet milestones
