Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking a Work Execution Manager (WEM) to lead maintenance for WASTE nuclear facilities. The role oversees scheduling, resource alignment, procedures, and budget within the MSS-WASTE portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance execution.

The WEM coordinates Supervisors and crafts personnel to optimize system availability, provides input to the Plan of the Day/Week, tracks resource status, and delegates budgetary authority as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with nuclear experience.
• Experience with facility management, safety programs, and regulations.
• Ability to lead and develop teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control maintenance execution for MSS-WASTE directives.
• Coordinate with WASTE Operations and Engineering support.
• Provide input to annual maintenance work plan budget.
• Attend Plan of the Day/Plan of the Week meetings.
• Ensure MSS-WASTE personnel are supervised, trained, and qualified.
• Interface with FOD, Program and Tenant representatives to address issues.
