Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a Work Execution Manager to lead maintenance for the WASTE facilities and oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource alignment. The role requires coordinating with operations, engineering, and tenants to ensure safe, compliant work execution onsite in Los Alamos, NM.

The candidate will guide craft teams, manage procedures, and provide input to the annual maintenance plan, while ensuring staff are trained and qualified.

Qualifications

• Facility Management: knowledge of facility management design and maintenance.
• Maintenance Operations: knowledge of work hazards, safety practices, reading schematics.
• Leadership: management, supervision, and HR administration experience.
• Training/Certifications: PE or CFM/CMRP desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control maintenance efforts for WASTE MSS-WASTE directives.
• Coordinate with WASTE Operation and Engineering support staff.
• Provide input to the WASTE Annual Maintenance Work Plan budget.
• Attend Plan of the Day meetings for status updates and scheduling.
• Interface with FOD, Program and Tenant representatives to resolve issues.
• Direct maintenance procedure generation, review and implementation.
• Ensure MSS-WASTE personnel are supervised, trained, and qualified.
