Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks a Production Control Specialist to support the Weapons Production program. You will manage M&TE, production materials, and classified items, ensuring safe, compliant movement between storage areas and accurate inventory records.

You will verify ML and PQL compliance and coordinate material pull/kit activities on a fast-paced, mission-driven team. Work location is onsite in Los Alamos, NM with potential for shift/weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of production and inventory control principles (cycle counting, physical inventory, planning).
• Proficiency with inventory control and material tracking systems; MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Measurement and Testing Equipment (M&TE), production materials, weapons components, and classified materials.
• Ensure materials are moved safely and compliantly between controlled storage areas.
• Maintain inventory records and item traceability across systems.
• Verify materials meet Management Level (ML) and Procurement Quality Level (PQL).
• Locate, pull, stage, and kit materials for production, construction, and maintenance.
