Job summary

GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy is seeking engineering, science, or business students for an internship beginning May 2027 to support the licensing team in Wilmington, NC. Interns will receive technical training and mentorship from highly experienced engineers and managers while tackling licensing-related assignments, codes and standards, and regulatory analyses.

This paid internship offers hands-on experience, reports, data, and collaboration across teams, with competitive weekly compensation

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university in engineering, science, project management, or business management.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to work in Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

• Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class engineers and managers.
• Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand into new areas.
• Work on licensing-focused assignments in the power generation industry and support regulatory concepts.
• Prepare reports, data bases, presentations, and collaborate with the team.
