Job summary

GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy in Wilmington, NC is offering an internship program starting in May 2027 to support licensing activities for the current BWR operating reactor fleet in the US. Essential qualifications include pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Law, or a related field; 40 hours per week; and US work authorization without sponsorship.

Preferred: Adobe Acrobat Pro and GPA 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Law, or a similar degree.
• 40 hours availability per week.
• Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensing activities for the current BWR operating reactor fleet in the US.
• Learn nuclear licensing methodologies and regulatory concepts.
• Gain familiarity with GVH's nuclear licensing methodologies.
