ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Licensing Engineer III to work on-site in Richland, WA. The role provides regulatory and technical support for licensing, compliance, and environmental initiatives within a DOE/NRC regulated nuclear environment.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, 7+ years of engineering experience (2+ years in nuclear), and a PE license. This is a full-time, on-site position with a pay rate of $47.75–$75.86 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7+ years of engineering in a technical setting, incl. 2+ years in a DOE/NRC regulated nuclear environment.
• PE license and 7+ years in engineering incl. 4+ years in a DOE/NRC regulated nuclear environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and technical support for licensing, compliance, and environmental initiatives.
• Consult with management to address nuclear safety, licensing, and regulatory issues.
• Develop recommendations and strategic guidance on regulatory and environmental project performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, plant organizations, vendors, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at regulatory meetings, industry work groups, workshops, and conferences.
• Support environmental review activities, including field and onsite visits as needed.
• Partner with licensing and environmental experts to resolve regulatory and compliance challenges.
• Monitor and communicate changes to licensing requirements, environmental regulations, policies, and industry standards.
