Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Licensing Engineer II to work on-site in Richland, WA. You will provide regulatory and technical support for licensing and environmental initiatives, collaborating with engineering teams, vendors, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with experience in a regulated nuclear environment and license renewal programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a technical environment, including at least 2 years in a DOE or NRC regulated nuclear environment.
• US citizenship required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and technical support for licensing, compliance, and environmental initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, plant organizations, vendors, industry peers, and regulatory agencies.
• Identify, evaluate, and help resolve nuclear safety, licensing, and regulatory issues.
• Support management by providing recommendations related to regulatory and environmental project performance.
• Represent the organization in interactions with regulators, industry work groups, workshops, and conferences.
• Assist with environmental reviews, including field and onsite visits when required.
• Work with licensing and environmental subject matter experts to address process-related issues.
• Monitor and communicate changes to licensing requirements, environmental regulations, policies, and industry standards.
