Job summary

Ameren is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Callaway Energy Center. You will direct skilled personnel in instrument and control maintenance, calibration and testing to assure safe, reliable operation at a nuclear facility.

Responsibilities include supervising I&C technicians, planning work, coordinating with planning, and ensuring compliance with QA procedures while maintaining high equipment reliability and safe practices. A strong background in I&C and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in instrumentation from an accredited institution preferred.
• Five or more years experience in Instrumentation and Controls required.
• Nuclear power plant Operations or I&C experience preferred.
• Experience as a Training Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calibration, testing and maintenance of instruments and controls.
• Supervise I&C technicians and assign tasks to plant engineers or other personnel.
• Control measuring and test equipment per QA procedures.
• Supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance and surveillance testing.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate work with Planning & Scheduling department as needed.
• Ensure safety, efficiency and high workmanship standards; maintain equipment reliability.
