Ameren is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Callaway Energy Center. You will direct skilled personnel in instrument and control maintenance, calibration and testing to assure safe, reliable operation at a nuclear facility.
Responsibilities include supervising I&C technicians, planning work, coordinating with planning, and ensuring compliance with QA procedures while maintaining high equipment reliability and safe practices. A strong background in I&C and leadership is essential.
The Callaway Energy Center is a nuclear facility located in mid-Missouri. The Energy Center has more than 800 employees and contractors working at the facility, and it has established a strong record of safe operation throughout its 30-year operating history. The Energy Center is a highly efficient, low-cost, sustainable source of electricity for Ameren Missouri's 1.2 million customers.
The Supervisor Instrument & Control directs the work of skilled personnel in work tasks and/or support activities for the maintenance, replacement, installation and removal of equipment in the power plant and associated structures to assure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in instrumentation from an accredited institution preferred. Five or more years experience in Instrumentation and Controls required. Nuclear power plant Operations or I&C experience preferred. Experience as a Training Instructor preferred.
The Maintenance Supervisor works a standard day or evening shift in an office/plant environment. Additional hours , callouts and/or rotating shifts may be required during refueling outages and emergent plant activities as the needs arise.
Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
$105,100.00 - $162,900.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
