Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in southwestern Pennsylvania seeks an I&C Instructor to train the next generation of reactors, including AP1000 and the operating fleet, worldwide. You will report to the Operations and Technical Training Manager with a hybrid work arrangement, typically 2–3 days on-site at the Madison, PA facility.

Responsibilities include SAT process participation, designing/implementing training for licensed and non-licensed personnel across classroom, plant, and simulator

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering required; or High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience.
• Navy Nuclear Instructor experience or NRC licenses beneficial.
• Experience with training procedures, INPO documents and NRC regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the SAT process for initial and continuing education programs.
• Design, develop and implement training sessions for licensed and non-licensed operations personnel (classroom, plant, simulator).
• Coordinate training programs and provide support to training committees.
• Maintain and update supporting documentation and advanced educational means (simulators, multimedia, videos, models).
