Job summary

Westinghouse Nuclear seeks an I&C Instructor to support the next generation of reactors, including AP1000 and the operating fleet, with classroom, simulator and on-site training delivered from Madison, PA. The role reports to the Operations and Technical Training Manager and offers a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days on-site.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Science/Engineering or a high school diploma with nuclear experience, NR C licenses or SRO, and 4–10 years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the SAT process for initial and continuing education programs.
• Carry out the analysis, design and implementation of initial and continuous training needs in the specialty.
• Design, development and implementation of sessions for initial and continuous training courses for licensed and non-licensed personnel, including classroom, plant and simulator.
• Collaborate in the analysis and implementation of corrections in the simulator and related tests.
• Coordinate training, providing support to training committees and planning programs.
• Define and collaborate in developing supporting documentation and maintaining updates.
• Develop advanced educational means (simulators, multimedia, videos, models) and maintain those tools.
• Collaborate on development of training materials and programs with the Training Manager.
