Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company operates WECTEC Staffing Services, and this role is on site at the South Texas nuclear plant in Wadsworth, TX. You will work with a team to prepare I&C portions of engineering change packages for transformer upgrades and monitoring systems.

The position requires 5+ years in I&C engineering for nuclear plants and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with strong data analysis, configuration management, and VE&V understanding. Pre-employment nuclear checks apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of I&C engineering experience on nuclear power plants.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Understanding of configuration management, requirements management, and V&V.

Responsibilities

• Determine required I/O signals, topology, and configuration with Operations and System Eng.
• Develop I&C device configurations and topology for the manufacturer.
• Develop annunciation and ICS alarm configurations with Engineering concurrence.
• Create trip logic diagram modifications with the team.
