Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company’s WECTEC Staffing Services unit is seeking an Electrical Field Engineering Consultant. You will report on site to the South Texas Project Nuclear Plant in Wadsworth, TX and provide electrical field engineering support for plant modifications and project activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical systems/work-control experience (preferably nuclear).
• Electrical Engineering Degree or relevant experience.
• Pass nuclear site background and drug screen.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide electrical field engineering support for plant modifications and project activities, including scope evaluations, constructability reviews, and development of complete electrical work packages.
• You will coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Planning, and craft to support safe, compliant installation, testing, turnover, and closure of electrical modifications.
• This is not a Manager role.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of electrical systems and work-control experience (preferably nuclear), with the ability to resolve field technical and execution issues.
• Electrical Engineering Degree or relevant experience
• You will pass a stringent nuclear site background, fitness for duty including a drug screen.
