Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company and its WECTEC Staffing Services team are seeking an Electrical Field Engineering Consultant for a 12-month contract on site at the South Texas Project Nuclear Plant in Wadsworth, TX. You will provide electrical field engineering support for plant modifications and project activities.

About the role:

Contract Position for an Electrical Field Engineering Consultant. You will report on site to South Texas Project Nuclear Plant in Wadsworth, TX. 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide electrical field engineering support for plant modifications and project activities, including scope evaluations, constructability reviews, and development of complete electrical work packages.


• You will coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Planning, and craft to support safe, compliant installation, testing, turnover, and closure of electrical modifications.


• This is not a manager role.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of electrical systems and work-control experience (preferably nuclear), with the ability to resolve field technical and execution issues.


• Electrical Engineering Degree or relevant experience


• You will pass a stringent nuclear site background, fitness for duty including a drug screen.
