Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company through WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an Electronics Technician to support EDM equipment maintenance and I&C field work across site locations. Training will begin July 2026 at the Westinghouse Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, with travel to diverse nuclear sites for assignments.

The role emphasizes installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation, control circuits, PLCs, sensors, and related systems, with emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

Strong military background with electronics work preferred.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience.
2+ years of similar work experience preferred.
Field cable installation work is required.
Familiarity with ZAP EDM or similar sinker/wire EDM is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot instrumentation and PLCs.
Operate, set up and program ZAP EDM sinker machines.
Coordinate with engineering and production to support operations.
Document maintenance activities and keep logs up to date.
Perform instrumentation testing with multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Read drawings and implement test procedures.
