X-energy LLC in Frederick, MD seeks a Manager, Human Factors Engineering to lead the design, development, implementation and evaluation of our Human Factors Program across engineering disciplines. You will guide and mentor the team, ensure high-quality, timely, cost-effective engineered solutions, and interface with stakeholders until requirements are satisfied.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Eight+ years of experience in human factors implementation.
• Five+ years' experience evaluating human actions and capabilities.
• Three to five years' experience in people management.
• Basic understanding of nuclear engineering, licensing, regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of engineering to analyze and provide feedback of plant system design.
• Attend stakeholder meetings to ensure stakeholders are satisfied with our work product.
• Overseeing and performing technical reviews and approvals of human factors reports.
• Provide guidance and personnel support in development and validation of plant procedures.
• Review submitted engineering data and documents to support human factors analysis and display development.
