Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a Work Execution Manager (WEM) with strong maintenance and facility engineering background. You will guide maintenance for the CMR, ensure scheduling, resource alignment, and budget compliance, and provide input to the Maintenance Work Plan.

You will coordinate Supervisors and craft personnel to maximize system availability and effective execution. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or related science, plus nuclear experience; DOE 426.2A guidance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science and relevant experience.
• Experience with facility management, safety basis, and configuration management.
• Strong leadership and project oversight abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control the execution of maintenance efforts related to CMR's AP-WORK, Conduct of Maintenance and Integrated Work Management System directives.
• Collaborate with CMR Operation and engineering support staff to provide guidance and support.
• Provide input and analysis for the CMR's Annual Maintenance Work Plan budget.
• Attend daily Plan of the Day meetings for status updates and scheduling.
• Provide maintenance project support for small project efforts as directed by CMR Operations.
• Interface with FOD, Program and Tenant representatives to resolve operational and maintenance issues.
• Perform work in accordance with approved documents.
• Ensure MSS-CMR personnel are properly supervised, trained, and qualified.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for execution and coordination of maintenance services.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related science
