Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks an experienced Nuclear Facilities Engineering Manager 3 to lead multi-disciplinary teams in nuclear facility projects, ensuring safe, reliable operations and compliant design and construction activities.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and coordinating with PFE and other divisions to meet mission goals. On-site leadership with a focus on safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years related nuclear facility experience.
• Professional license (PE) in engineering or PMP is preferred but not required.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling, staffing, and budgeting for projects across Title I–III lifecycle.
• Develop and manage schedules aligned with staffing plans and customer deadlines.
• Provide leadership to ensure safety-compliant, cost-effective engineering designs.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to align objectives and priorities.
