Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a seasoned Work Control Planner 4 to develop and review work packages, craft clear procedures, and ensure safe execution of maintenance in complex facilities in Los Alamos, NM.

You will interpret mechanical/electrical documents, maintain CMMS data, and mentor junior staff while upholding environmental and safety compliance for varied projects and operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience interpreting mechanical and electrical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety practices, lock-out/tag-out policies, and hazards in complex facilities.
• Ability to mentor and train less experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review work packages with time, material, and labor estimates.
• Prepare step-by-step work instructions and safety/post-maintenance testing requirements.
• Maintain performance data, audit reports, and data for analysis and improvement.
