Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Nuclear facility standards: meet DOE O 426.2 requirements or equivalent.
• Alternative: High school diploma with 15+ years of nuclear experience in lieu of a degree and 7 years.
• Newly hired personnel in the interim will not perform duties that could affect the safety basis of nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance and operations on nuclear equipment within UPF following safety bases and procedures.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff; address personnel issues and union matters where applicable.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth turnover of equipment and systems to maintenance.
• Review processes and designs with vendor submissions to improve maintainability.
