Job summary

CNS is hiring for a UPF Work Control Planner at the Y-12 Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. The role focuses on planning support for corrective and preventive maintenance, fabrication, modification, and outages, interfacing with Engineering and safety groups to develop safe job methods.

Candidates should have a strong background in maintenance planning, hazard analysis, and the ability to coordinate with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Must meet DOE O 426.2A requirements (high school diploma or DOE alternative).
• Certifications related to planning, work control, maintenance, reliability (e.g., CMRP, CMRT, CRL, RMIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning support for corrective and preventive maintenance, fabrication, modification and outage planning for the Y-12 Complex.
• Prepare job packages following established processes and procedures.
• Serve as primary liaison between organization and customer requesting maintenance work.
• Interface with Engineering, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and others to gather input for job methods.
• Sequence work activities and develop job plans to enable safe and efficient work execution.
• Ensure necessary permits and materials are available as required.
• Apply regulations for environmental, safety, health, security, and plant protection.
